A device can authenticate successfully and still lack usable internet service. Once payment and entitlement are confirmed, investigate connectivity rather than treating every complaint as a billing problem.
Establish the successful stages
Verify the correct account, valid entitlement and an actual authenticated session. Then identify what the customer cannot do. A failure to load a particular destination is different from no upstream connectivity at all, and weak Wi-Fi may create intermittent results.
Check the network beyond billing
Ask the responsible technician to inspect the relevant upstream, routing, name-resolution and radio conditions. These tasks depend on the installed network. The billing application cannot create bandwidth, repair a cable or extend phone coverage merely by renewing an account.
- Compare one affected device with another controlled test device.
- Determine whether the problem affects one customer or a shared area.
- Note recent network changes and the time the symptom began.
Avoid destructive shortcuts
Do not reset the full router configuration or erase customer records simply because a payment is visible and browsing fails. Start with the smallest useful observation and preserve the working parts of the network.
Report the diagnosis clearly
Tell support which stages already succeeded. A report that confirms authentication but identifies an upstream failure directs work more effectively than “payment not working”. After repair, test usable service without charging the customer again for the same confirmed period.
Frequently asked questions
Can another payment repair poor Wi-Fi coverage?
No. Verify entitlement, then diagnose the radio or network problem independently.
Does authentication guarantee every internet destination works?
No. Upstream connectivity and other network services must also function.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
