WayaDesk / Customer service and SMS
Self-service is useful when it answers the questions customers repeatedly ask: what they have paid for, when service ends, how to choose the next package and where to request help. It should expose the relevant account information without exposing administration.
Make the account view useful
LinkDesk’s private customer account page brings together paid time, payment history, printable receipts, next-plan selection, support threads and an SMS preference. The information should help a customer understand their own service rather than navigating an operator dashboard.
Protect the route into the account
A private account link grants access to customer information. Treat its token like a credential and deliver it privately. Shared browsers and publicly forwarded links can expose history even if the network password itself is never displayed.
- Test the account view using a real pilot subscriber.
- Check that one customer cannot access another account’s information.
- Explain how to obtain help if the private link is lost or exposed.
Keep self-service and payment distinct
Selecting the next package does not establish a completed purchase. A support ticket does not automatically change entitlement. Clear wording around those actions prevents a customer from assuming that a request has already altered their paid service.
Measure the practical benefit
Track which questions still require staff help during the pilot. If customers cannot interpret the displayed dates or find receipts, improve the explanation before adding more options. A smaller, understandable portal can reduce support effort more effectively than a crowded set of controls.

Frequently asked questions
Does the portal expose owner settings?
It is a separate customer surface, not the private administration interface.
Can a customer choose the next package before paying?
The documented workflow allows selection, but payment and the resulting service period remain separate steps.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
