WayaDesk / Hotspot billing
A login page should help a customer understand the service and reach the correct next step. A polished page can still fail if prices are unclear, help is missing or the device cannot reach the checkout destination before authentication.
Put the decision first
Show the package name, price, validity and any relevant device or usage limits before payment. Make it clear which business provides internet access and where the customer can request help. Use readable text on a small phone instead of filling the screen with promotional graphics.
Test the full route
Open the flow on an unauthenticated customer device. Check that required pages load and that returning from payment does not strand the user. Repeat the journey when the browser tab is closed and reopened. Test actual network behaviour rather than inspecting only a saved HTML preview.
- Check the smallest phone screen staff expect to support.
- Confirm that a failed payment leaves a clear recovery option.
- Make the support route understandable without an account password.
Keep private administration separate
The public customer page should not expose owner settings, integration secrets or persistent network credentials. LinkDesk’s public and administrative surfaces have different purposes. A branded customer portal is not permission to publish the local administration interface.
Observe customers during the pilot
Ask a person unfamiliar with the system to buy a test package while you watch where they hesitate. A confusing button or unclear validity label may create more support work than a missing decorative feature. Record those issues alongside technical failures so they are fixed before rollout.
Frequently asked questions
Is a design preview enough to approve the login flow?
No. Test the page from an unauthenticated device on the intended network.
Should customers see router passwords on the portal?
No. Public customer pages must remain separate from private administration and network credentials.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
