WayaDesk / Business use cases
Multiple sites introduce more than additional routers. Each location can have a different path, power arrangement and support responsibility. The operator must understand which parts are shared and which failures affect only one location.
Count and map the installation
Choose a licence allowance that covers the routers managed by the installation. Record the site associated with each device and how the application reaches it. A router allowance does not include the connectivity required between sites.
Keep observations attributable
Use names that help staff identify the correct device and location. When a customer reports a problem, match the account to the intended path. Similar router labels can lead a technician to investigate or change the wrong equipment.
- Test one representative account through each site’s actual path.
- Identify common host or upstream dependencies.
- Record who can perform on-site recovery at every location.
Plan for partial failure
One site may be unavailable while the application and other sites continue operating. Staff should inspect the relevant router observation before declaring a complete billing outage or repeating customer payments. Keep fresh and stale observations distinguishable.
Expand in measured steps
Add sites only after verifying the existing workload and recovery process. The ten-router tier is a licence allowance, not a guarantee of any particular total customer capacity. Measure activity and service behaviour on the actual host and network before making expansion promises.
Frequently asked questions
Does the router licence provide links between locations?
No. Inter-site connectivity and hosting are separate deployment requirements.
Does ten-router licensing guarantee a specific customer count?
No. Capacity depends on the equipment, host, traffic and tested operating workload.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
