Voucher management includes creation, sale, issue and later investigation. A code that exists in the application is not necessarily a code that has been sold. Keeping those stages clear helps staff account for both access and money.
Separate stock from payment
Use the recorded voucher state when handing out access. LinkDesk distinguishes unissued vouchers, demo records and recorded payments in its workflows. An operator-entered payment should remain identifiable as such rather than being presented as independent merchant verification.
Limit who can issue access
An owner and an authorised cashier can perform defined voucher and payment tasks. A technician needs network diagnostic access, which is a different responsibility. Test those roles with separate accounts rather than sharing the owner password with everyone at the counter.

If staff take a payment through an agreed manual process, define the evidence they must check and how they record it. The fact that voucher administration is local does not remove the need to verify money received or to protect the inventory of access credentials.
