A LinkDesk product key and a MikroTik RouterOS licence serve different purposes. Buying WayaDesk billing software does not purchase, upgrade or replace the operating-system licence on your MikroTik equipment.
What the LinkDesk licence covers
The software licence permits perpetual use of the purchased LinkDesk version for one installation within its managed-router allowance. Starter, Growth and Pro differ by that allowance. It is not a subscriber-capacity guarantee, a bandwidth package or permission to create unlimited separate installations.
What the router still requires
Your MikroTik equipment must run an appropriate RouterOS version and have the capabilities required for the intended network service. RouterOS licensing and device limitations are separate from LinkDesk sales. Check current official MikroTik documentation for the actual device or RouterOS product, rather than deriving hardware limits from the LinkDesk tier name.
Keep keys in their correct workflows
Enter the WayaDesk-issued product key in LinkDesk Settings & licence. Do not attempt to use it as a RouterOS activation key. Similarly, a MikroTik licence key does not activate the LinkDesk installation. Maintain purchase records privately and share only the required reference through support.
Budget and test both layers
Account for the compatible gateway, host, connectivity and any necessary external services alongside the billing software. Confirm router identity, management access and the supported authentication path in a pilot. A higher LinkDesk router allowance does not make an underpowered gateway handle more traffic or add unsupported RouterOS features.

No. Pro changes the LinkDesk managed-router allowance, not RouterOS licensing.

Current one-off licences are KSh 4,900 for 2 managed routers, KSh 9,900 for 5 and KSh 17,900 for 10, on one installation. The amount displayed at M-Pesa checkout applies to your purchase. Verified payment reveals the product key and prepared installer on your private order page. Hardware, hosting, messaging and separately quoted assistance are external costs.
