WayaDesk / Business use cases
Guesthouse internet service should fit the guest’s stay and the reception team’s responsibilities. Decide whether access is included, sold separately or provided through a defined package before configuring billing.
Keep stay information and payment scope clear
A room booking and an internet purchase are different records unless a specific integration connects them. LinkDesk should not be advertised as a hotel property-management system. Use an operating process that identifies the guest’s internet entitlement without exposing another guest’s account history.
Prepare reception for common questions
Staff should explain duration, supported simultaneous logins and what happens at checkout. Give them the permissions required for sales tasks while keeping owner settings and integration secrets private.
- Test the guest journey from an unauthenticated phone.
- Define how unused or extended stay time affects the agreed offer.
- Keep the help route visible when access is unavailable.
Validate the building experience
Reception connectivity is not proof of coverage in every room. Test representative guest locations and busy periods with the network installer. The application manages access rules; it does not guarantee radio coverage through walls or across separate buildings.
Close the handover properly
When guests leave, protect their private portal access and retain legitimate payment evidence. A new guest should receive their own service arrangement rather than an old customer’s forwarded account link. Test those operating steps during the pilot as carefully as the first successful payment.
Frequently asked questions
Does LinkDesk integrate automatically with hotel bookings?
No such integration is claimed in the current product scope. Keep booking and internet records separate unless a verified integration is provided.
Does reception Wi-Fi prove all rooms are covered?
No. Test the intended guest locations and load with the network installer.
