WayaDesk is WiFi billing software for Kenyan operators who use MikroTik to control paid internet access. The installed application is LinkDesk v0.5.0. It brings package records, Hotspot vouchers, subscriber accounts and M-Pesa integration into an operator-owned installation.
What a WiFi billing system manages
Your internet connection supplies bandwidth, access points distribute WiFi, and the gateway enforces who may use it. Billing software keeps the package, payment and access entitlement together. Start by deciding whether customers buy short Hotspot passes or renew an ongoing subscriber account. That decision affects credentials, expiry rules and the customer checkout flow.
What you can do in LinkDesk
Create supported internet packages, generate voucher batches, record payments and manage persistent subscribers. Review payment status separately from router delivery: money can be confirmed while an access action still needs attention. Owner, cashier and technician accounts help divide work. Encrypted backups protect the installation records when a recovery plan is in place.
Prepare an existing network
You need a compatible configured MikroTik access gateway and a Windows or Linux host appropriate to the integration. Subscriber M-Pesa checkout needs its own merchant configuration, public HTTPS reachability and acceptance testing. Buying the software through this website does not configure those operator services. Test joining WiFi, choosing a package, payment confirmation, access, expiry and renewal before moving customers.
Choose the licence for your gateways
The licence covers one LinkDesk installation and its managed-router allowance. Access points used only to distribute WiFi should not be confused with independently managed billing gateways. Does the licence include internet or routers?
No. Internet service, routers, access points, cabling and hosting are separate.
Can I use my own M-Pesa merchant account?
Subscriber billing requires your own supported merchant integration and deployment testing. The seller checkout is a separate payment journey.
Software price and delivery
Current one-off licences are KSh 4,900 for 2 managed routers, KSh 9,900 for 5 and KSh 17,900 for 10, on one installation. The amount displayed at M-Pesa checkout applies to your purchase. Verified payment reveals the product key and prepared installer on your private order page. Hardware, hosting, messaging and separately quoted assistance are external costs.
