WayaDesk / Buyer decisions and pilot
The installation should remain understandable when the original technician is unavailable. A proper handover gives the owner the records, access and operating knowledge needed to run the accepted setup and obtain help when something changes.
Hand over control privately
Record who owns the host, domain, merchant account and router administration. Deliver sensitive credentials through an appropriate private method. Keep the prepared installer, licence record and recovery information available to the authorised owner.
Demonstrate the everyday tasks
Ask the designated operator to locate a transaction, explain an expiry, inspect a delayed access action and respond to a customer ticket. Verify that cashier and technician accounts can perform their roles without relying on the owner password.
- Confirm startup and restart instructions for each required component.
- Locate the latest backup and demonstrate the recovery plan.
- Record support contacts, scope and unresolved limitations.
Preserve the acceptance evidence
Keep the pilot results and the non-secret configuration inventory. These explain what was tested and provide a baseline for later changes. An installer saying “everything works” is less useful than a record of the actual payment, access, expiry and recovery outcomes.
Agree what happens next
Identify who maintains hosting, updates and external provider accounts. Confirm any paid support arrangement and how a licence transfer or router-allowance increase is requested. The handover is complete when the owner can operate and explain the accepted system, not merely when installation files have been copied.
Frequently asked questions
What should the owner retain after installation?
The prepared installer, licence and purchase records, private access information, backup recovery details and acceptance report.
Is a dashboard screenshot a complete handover?
No. The operator needs working procedures, responsibility assignments and evidence of the required live checks.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
