WayaDesk / Buyer decisions and pilot
Capacity is more than the number of registered accounts. Payment activity, active sessions, accounting updates and recovery work can create different loads. The host and network should be evaluated using a workload that resembles the operator’s real service.
Separate three capacities
The billing host processes application work. Routers apply network policy and handle their configured traffic. Access points and upstream services shape the customer’s connection experience. A healthy result in one area does not establish capacity in the others.
Measure a representative workload
Observe normal activity and a busy period during the pilot. Include renewal bursts or accounting volume where relevant. Review response, unfinished work, resource use and recovery after interruption. Avoid claiming a specific subscriber limit without evidence from the intended configuration.
- Record host and router specifications with the test results.
- Check whether background work falls behind under the chosen load.
- Re-test after meaningful changes to the service or deployment.
Keep licensing separate
The router licence tiers are commercial allowances. They do not measure bandwidth or guarantee that any host will support every permitted router at full load. Selecting a larger allowance does not automatically upgrade the equipment.
Plan growth using evidence
Expand in steps and compare results with the earlier accepted workload. When performance changes, identify the constrained component before replacing the entire setup. Good capacity records make it easier to budget for the improvement that actually addresses the observed problem.
Frequently asked questions
Is registered customer count enough to size the host?
No. Activity patterns and integration workload matter as well.
Does a larger licence improve processing speed?
No. Licence allowance and equipment performance are separate considerations.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
