WayaDesk / Business use cases
Temporary Wi-Fi has a defined operating window and a short opportunity to resolve problems. Billing setup should be tested before attendees arrive, with clear responsibilities for sales, support and closing the service afterwards.
Define the event offer
Explain the validity boundary and whether unused time can extend beyond the event. Use package behaviour that the deployed workflow actually supports. A pass name should not imply a calendar or event-end rule that has not been configured and tested.
Prepare the people and equipment
Assign who verifies payments, who handles access problems and who controls the network. Keep authorised staff accounts separate and make the approved payment instructions clear. Public demand should not be the first live test of the merchant integration.
- Complete a payment-to-access journey at the venue before opening.
- Test representative attendee locations and expected device types.
- Record the recovery and escalation path for the operating window.
Avoid unsupported capacity promises
The licence count does not establish how many attendees the radio network or upstream service can handle. Capacity, power and coverage are separate event-planning tasks. Use measured results and a realistic contingency plan.
Close the event deliberately
Reconcile payments, preserve required business records and remove temporary staff access. Keep customer information private and avoid leaving an unattended controller or exposed administrative route after the event ends.
Frequently asked questions
Can I test the live payment integration for the first time during the event?
Complete controlled acceptance before opening to attendees so unresolved issues do not become public sales problems.
Does an event pass automatically end with the event?
Only if the actual configured validity implements that rule. State the real boundary clearly.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
