Prepaid internet billing grants service after a payment is confirmed. Postpaid billing requires a different agreement about credit, invoices and debt collection. Choose software by the workflow it implements, rather than treating both models as interchangeable.
Start with the prepaid entitlement
LinkDesk subscriber workflows connect confirmed payments to paid service periods. A new account can begin unpaid and receive entitlement through a verified payment or a properly recorded manual renewal. Local Hotspot vouchers are another prepaid access model. A payment attempt that remains uncertain should not be treated as a completed purchase.
Define what monthly means
Monthly service can mean a fixed number of days or a calendar-month anniversary. State the actual model and demonstrate how it handles short months and early renewal. The package snapshot records what was purchased. A new public package price should not silently change the entitlement associated with an older payment.
Do not assume credit controls
This page does not claim that LinkDesk provides a full postpaid credit-control, debt-aging or accounting suite. If your operation needs those functions, document them explicitly and confirm supported scope before buying. Customer account history is useful evidence, but it does not automatically establish a complete accounts-receivable workflow.
Rehearse exceptions
Test a cancelled STK request, late payment, early renewal and a package change. Agree who may record cash or manually verified payments. Confirm how expiry and reconnection are enforced on the intended gateway. Keep the billing policy understandable to staff so an exceptional support case does not create duplicate paid time.
Questions before buying
Is a recurring monthly package automatically postpaid?
No. A monthly package can be prepaid when service is granted after payment.
Can I promise credit billing from the current feature list?
Only promise functions confirmed for your deployment. A complete postpaid credit workflow is not established here.
