WayaDesk supplies LinkDesk ISP billing software for small Kenyan internet operators using MikroTik Hotspot, local PPPoE or a separately deployed FreeRADIUS integration. It is purchased as a perpetual licence for one installation, with a defined managed-router allowance.
Keep the subscriber lifecycle visible
A subscriber account needs a stable identity, a package, a payment history and a service period. An operator should be able to explain what a customer paid for and when that entitlement ends. LinkDesk supports persistent subscriber workflows alongside local Hotspot vouchers; these are different access models rather than interchangeable labels.
Pick the authentication path
Local PPPoE uses the MikroTik subscriber database. The supplied FreeRADIUS path uses FreeRADIUS for protocol authentication, with LinkDesk providing paid entitlement policy through a private bridge. That integration requires a suitable always-on Linux deployment. Do not assume quota enforcement or simultaneous-session controls behave identically across every path.
Separate payment from connection health
A successful M-Pesa payment is one step in providing internet. The gateway must also be reachable and the customer equipment must authenticate. Keep payment evidence, account dates and router observations available for support. Do not ask a customer to pay again merely because the access action is delayed.
Run a small pilot before migration
Demonstrate a new account, early renewal, expiry and reconnection. Include a host restart and a restore rehearsal. Preserve existing paid periods and credentials during migration, and define rollback steps. LinkDesk does not supply fibre construction, customer CPE configuration, upstream internet or a guaranteed subscriber capacity.
Questions before buying
Is this a monthly SaaS subscription?
The current software offer is a one-off licence for perpetual use of the purchased version. Hosting and external services remain separate.
Does buying a licence make my ISP network ready?
No. Your intended network, subscriber payments and recovery procedures still need acceptance testing.
Software price and delivery
Current one-off licences are KSh 4,900 for 2 managed routers, KSh 9,900 for 5 and KSh 17,900 for 10, on one installation. The amount displayed at M-Pesa checkout applies to your purchase. Verified payment reveals the product key and prepared installer on your private order page. Hardware, hosting, messaging and separately quoted assistance are external costs.
