If you operate a paid WiFi or subscriber network, billing software can help keep customer access and payment records organised. WayaDesk provides LinkDesk software; it does not provide upstream internet, a franchise or a ready-made resale agreement.
Define the service before choosing software
Document the connection you intend to offer, its upstream provider and the equipment that controls access. Confirm the applicable service terms for your own arrangement before offering paid access. Identify whether the customer buys a short pass or a recurring account. That choice determines which LinkDesk workflow is relevant.
Separate a software licence from a resale business
The managed-router allowance lets one installation manage the purchased number of supported gateways. It does not create a right to resell the software, issue licences to other operators or run unlimited independent installations. If you are buying for several separate businesses, explain their ownership and installation structure to the seller before ordering.
Keep collection responsibilities clear
Your subscriber M-Pesa integration collects for your internet service. WayaDesk checkout collects for the LinkDesk software licence. Do not use the seller Paybill as if it were your own subscriber collection account. Keep invoices, merchant evidence and customer account records associated with the correct business.
Budget for the whole operation
Include internet service, routing equipment, access points, hosting, power, payment-provider charges and any separately agreed support. Compare the software cost across the gateways you actually manage. Test a pilot customer journey and backup recovery before committing to wider sales or migration.
Questions before buying
Does buying WayaDesk make me a software licence reseller?
No. The current customer offer covers one software installation and its router allowance.
Will the seller Paybill collect my subscribers’ payments?
No. Website licence purchases and your internet merchant integration are separate.
Software price and delivery
Current one-off licences are KSh 4,900 for 2 managed routers, KSh 9,900 for 5 and KSh 17,900 for 10, on one installation. The amount displayed at M-Pesa checkout applies to your purchase. Verified payment reveals the product key and prepared installer on your private order page. Hardware, hosting, messaging and separately quoted assistance are external costs.
Choose your software licence
One installation, a clear router allowance, and perpetual use of the purchased version. Setup assistance, hosting and external services are separate.
