If someone hosts LinkDesk for your business, agree who owns the installation, records, backups and integration settings. The software licence and the hosting service are separate. A successful setup needs an operating handover, not just a link to a dashboard.
Document the service boundaries
Identify the host operating system, person responsible for patches, network access path and services required for your chosen integration. The supplied FreeRADIUS bridge needs an appropriate always-on Linux host, while local MikroTik paths can use their supported Windows or Linux setup. Avoid buying unspecified hosting on the assumption that all plans meet those requirements.
Separate public checkout and private management
Your customer HTTPS service needs the intended public reachability. The administrator workspace, merchant credentials, backups and RADIUS bridge need appropriate private access. Agree how the operator will reach those services safely and who can change their configuration. A publicly exposed admin port is not a proper handover shortcut.
Require a usable recovery package
Know where encrypted backups are stored, how the passphrase is protected and how to restore to a suitable empty destination. Ask the provider to demonstrate recovery and record the last verified backup. Keep ownership and access arrangements clear if the hosting contract ends; possession of a software key alone is not a copy of the operational database.
Accept the deployment with evidence
Request results for payment verification, gateway access, renewal, expiry and restart on your own network. Confirm staff roles and unresolved transaction procedures. Record what the host provider supports and what remains your technician’s responsibility. Hosting uptime, SMS and future maintenance terms need their own agreement.
Questions before buying
Does the WayaDesk software price include hosting?
No. Hosting and related assistance are separate services.
Can I move the installation later?
Plan data recovery and the supported equipment-transfer workflow before changing hosts.
